Synonyms - chrysanthemum mild mottle virus, tomato aspermy cucumovirus

Strains - type strain, TAV-Can, and TAV-V

Transmission - By vector; an insect.  Transmitted in non-persistent manner, mechanical inoculation, grafting, and seeds. NOT transmitted by plant to plant contact.

Geographical distribution - Spreads in Eurasian region: Austrailia, Canada, India, Japan, New Zealand, US, and former USSR.
